RE-VISITING THE "RED MIJ-it"
Today's featured kit from "The misplacedmtnman Magnificent M.I.J. Museum" is this Red Sparkle beauty. Yes, the acquisition of and early work on this drum set was covered a long time ago in a post located HERE, but the final assemblage was never photographed to my liking. Since the initial clean-up of the original three-piece, I have added a snare and another floor tom. I also applied a "tongue-in-cheek" logo to the front head of the bass drum as a nice finishing detail.
SPECIFICATIONS:
14 x 20" Bass Drum
7-1/2 x 12" Tom
13 x 14" Floor Tom
These three were generic M.I.J. pieces with no badges, to which were added:
5 x 14" U.S. Mercury Snare Drum
16 x 16" Apollo Floor Tom
