I'M QUITE AWARES THERE'S TOO MANY SNARES

Here are some other snare drum projects that I have been working on lately.

This is a silver-sparkle "Dia Deluxe" (MIJ).  Nothing wrong with it.  Just needs to be cleaned, re-headed and re-strung.  Here are the "After" photos:

That was fun. Now here's the next one: a plain, blue-sparkle blah-blah-blah...<yawn>

Well, I'm still working on this one.  The inside looks real nice:

I'll let you know when I finish that one.  Here's an interesting one that has a "Purple Strata Pearl" finish.  You don't see that every day, poppin' up on Ebay for less than a hundred bucks.
