THE BLUE SPARKLE "MIJ-IT" KIT

Now that the Blue Sparkle Bass Drum has been successfully finished, I can now bring together several past projects to make a complete kit.  Here I combine a Magnum Snare Drum, an 11 x 16" Ideal Marching Tom in a floor tom position, and a 13" Stewart Tom with the 14 x 20" Drum Mate Bass Drum to create a nice little four-piece drumset.

All of these drums were purchased from different sellers in different locations across the country, and each drum has a unique brand badge.  This is inconsequential, however, since Japanese drums in the 1960's were all manufactured in the same factory and just labeled with various "American-sounding" badges.  As you can see, the blue sparkle wraps on these drums match up perfectly.  This is a beautiful little kit.  Originally I had planned to fix it up and sell it, but now I think I might just have to keep it for myself.
