SILVER SPARKLE JAP NO-NAME

It seems like all the Japanese drums I find lately don't have any name badges on them.  Here's another one: a silver sparkle snare drum.  Viewing the "Before" photos I can see the chrome shows a little rusting, especially around the bottom rim and on the "butt plate."

Despite these cosmetic issues, this drum should clean up nicely.  Here's one last close-up of the dingy hardware:

I have now finished cleaning up this drum, so here are the "After" photos:

This was pretty much a routine cleaning job, except for that rusty "butt plate," which I replaced with a new one.

New heads and new plastic "straps" to hold the snare wires completed this project.
