SPINNING SOME NEW BEATS
Here is a pair of Zildjian 14" New Beat Hi-Hats that I acquired recently. Let's see how well they clean up, shall we?
I'd say they cleaned up rather beautifully. Now they sound much better. Using a motorized spinner and some professional-grade metal polish is the best way to restore vintage cymbals. It won't remove all the stains, especially if they are substantially set in, but enough of them to make a huge difference.
People should pay me to do this...
