THE HOLY GRAIL OF BELL TREE FINDS!

Latin Percussion is, of course, the most well-known manufacturer of the infamous bell tree instrument.  Meinl and a couple of other companies make similar products, but the LP tree is the standard 26-bell set.

But at one time LP manufactured two other bell tree sets that are most unique in appearance.  Even those familiar with the typical bell tree of today don't remember these other sets with larger castings, one of which with bells that flared out and the other with bells that curved inwards.  These sets, which I came across at a local music store back in the early 1980's, virtually disappeared from existence and remained a distant memory in the back of my mind.

Well, just recently my memory was refreshed when I found these sets for sale on eBay!  And the asking prices were more than reasonable for such rare collectibles!

So here are the most recent additions to my bell tree collection!  I can't wait until they arrive so I can polish them up and restore their original beauty!
