FOUND! LUDWIG ORCHESTRA BELLS!

I am pleased to report that after weeks of diligent searching, I have finally located my lost set of Orchestra Bells! I thought maybe I had donated them to the children's choir at church, but the director told me she remembered giving them back. That could only mean they were somewhere in my house. That at least narrowed my search.

Today I found them up on a shelf in a storage closet. Now my only problem is a stand. The plastic case, the stand and the mallets to this kit were lost years ago, so I do have a tiny bit of restoration work to do. Otherwise, the bell set is intact and very usable.

This little set of bells was part of a Ludwig "Junior Percussion Kit" that I bought used back when I played for The Stand, and it became a part of The Fortress until the band broke up and I sold everything. Years later I found it, believe it or not, in Eric Ernest's store called "Abalone Vintage Guitars." I bought it again, and have held onto it since, except for a short while when I lent it to the children's choir at my church. Now it shall become a part of The Mini-Fortress!
